Staying Positive
This comic is currently on hiatus. In truth I just couldn't update this and UnCONventional with my schedule. As UnCONventional is set to wrap at the end of 2019 though, I intend to return to Crosarth in mid 2020. Thank you for your patience.

I'm surprised at the Admiral's dad's viewpoint. I personally woulda thunk he'd've been a bit resentful over it all, especially knowing it all was an original set-up in the first place.
But, then again, I CAN see how our air pirate's viewpoint might make sense. After all the crap he's been through I can EASILY see that he's decided to make a go of it all. After all, he's reunited with his son: can't beat that! He sees his son as a leader, a military hero, (at least up to the recent couple of days), and that he's not some mere flunkie wannabe.
I still feel for Kurt but ….

Kellin's a determined optimist. As long as he's not dead, he's going to find the bright side.

(and frankly, he'd be proud of his son regardless of position – it wouldn't matter if he was Fleet Admiral or clerk in a hat shop)

T-thank you for your reprimand. I stand corrected, sir. I should've seen that view as well. I didn't mean that Kell wouldn't be proud of his son BUT you cannot dismiss that the man encounters a son he hasn't seen in over 20 years and finds him a leader. That, in & of itself, would still make my chest swell: knowing my son, (tho' he might've been a hat salesman), had made a major name for himself, not to be lightly dismissed.
But, T, truth be told, all pride has to be swallowed for now until he, along with his son & his son's trusted crew, along with our most unfortunate Kurt, can make a run to safety. Will it be to the Commander's home nation? Methinks that'd be somewhat perceived as a traitoristic act, verifying what the General would say.
What can the crew of the Bird do, then?
Good question: can't wait to see how this all plays out!

The text in the second half of Kellin's first speech bubble is improperly aligned. I'll fix it before the print version comes out.
