I guess I am now really noticing it but I do like how the flashbacks are in blue and the present day panels are like an old tv from the 40's or 50's.
Well, it's not meant to look like an "old tv" so much as faded, yellowed photographs for the present day stuff – but I'm glad you like the effect.
Oddly enough, I actually fully color these, and then make them black and white afterwards.
