This comic is currently on hiatus. In truth I just couldn't update this and UnCONventional with my schedule. As UnCONventional is set to wrap at the end of 2019 though, I intend to return to Crosarth in mid 2020. Thank you for your patience.

I love how you make me read Kellin’s parts in the actual Kellin’s voice. Especially when I could imagine him saying them.

Hey Cal: how do you envision his voice? Kinda like Cal Worthington (may he rest in peace) or George Clooney, younger years or kinda like…uuuuhhh…George Peppard.
I know this one german girl (our favorite barista who moved back to Munich) whose voice I can picture for Azure. I’m still thinking about Sam.
Besides…anyone gotta clue on the Admiral’s voice?
      Just axin’, is all…

Calvsie’s met the real person I partially based Kellin off of, so I’m betting that’s whose voice he’s hearing in his head.

As for Hayworth – I’ve always imagined he sounds somewhere between Patrick Stewart and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Who would you place Sam’s voice as? Azure’s? Ilyena’s? the Commander’s?

Well, Sam’s based on a real person too… I can’t think of a particular actress off the top of my head that I’d cast (like, David Hewlett is my dream casting for Kellin, even though he’s based off a real guy).

Azure, in my head, sounds like Natalie Morales (the actress from Middleman and the first season of White Collar — NOT the Newscaster from the Today Show). Ilyena has a sharper voice, so more akin to a raspier Kristen Bell or an Allison Scagliotti.

As for Friday? Karen Gillan’s accent is all wrong, but maybe something similar to that. Yvonne Strahovski with her native accent (not the fake American one she uses in most of her work) is probably closer to what’s in my head.

I’ll have to listen to all of them and then picture their voices when I read the character lines.
I’m also curious: I wonder if whomever reads this great story can draw up an approximate picture of what each person would look like if we were to meet them on the street.
            Seriously! That’d be so cool.
I know that, by your own admission, you used a couple of people for your pictualization (my word-think about it) of the characters involved AND I know that many of the people who do online mangas/webcomics have based many of their characters on real people.
            Just askin’, is all.
Thoughts, T, Lang, Cal, anyone else????

I too can imagine Kellin’s voice cause I met the real guy and his wife too. And I also imagined Haysworth voice as a deeper more sophisticated voice.

I’ll have to read all of the Admiral’s lines with Patrick Stewart’s voice. Wowwwww…..

Clearly, all of the above information regarding voices needs to be added to the http://www.crosarth.com/cast/ page :-).
